Coupon Binder Show & Tell

Alyssa at Keeping the Kingdom First is hosting a Coupon Binder Show & Tell. Actually it's a giveaway! The prize is a surprise but she promises it's a good one!

So here's my binder!



As you can see, it's a hot pink binder. Not my first choice of color but it was all they had in this particular binder. It is zippered, which is very important. You don't want your coupons flying everywhere if you (or some little person that happens to be with you) drop it.


Inside the front cover are built in dividers. I keep my rebate books, ads, pet coupons (that I really should sort and file...) in there.


There is also a mesh zippered compartment. In there I keep a pen, a pair of scissors, a calculator (which is missing at the moment) and sometimes loose coupons that need to be filed.



I use baseball card pages to hold my coupons. In this first section I keep my rebates.


Next, I have my CVS coupons and Target coupons.




Next, I have my free coupons.



Finally, we get to the regular manufacturer's cents off coupons. A lot of people (most people, probably) file their coupons by category. I file mine alphabetically. Rarely do I have a situation when I need, for example, salad dressing so I need to see all of my salad dressing coupons at once. The way I shop, is by looking for things that will be free after coupon. So if I see that Kraft dressing will be free, I flip to the "K" section and pull out my Kraft dressing coupon. I found these nifty dividers at Walmart that have one letter per divider. They are PERFECT!
