I used my $5 coupon at Kohls today and I got a pair of shorts for my 2 year old and a hand towel for ZERO OOP. The shorts were on clearance for $3.20 and the towel was on clearance for $1.79. When you use a store coupon, it lowers the tax (in this case to zero) so I didn't have to pay anything! This MIGHT be YMMV though because the coupon does say that it is to be used on a $5 minimum purchase (mine came to $4.99). However, when the coupon was scanned it took $4.99 off without a problem.
